Since their first show in late 2012, a major buzz about the band Frogleg has been slowly and organically spreading throughout the Twin Cities music scene. Known for their songwriting and improvisational live performances, this seven-piece would be best described as a band that plays soul music, as their influences are not drawn from one specific genre. A typical Frogleg show will usually feature a unique blend of Bluegrass, Funk, Reggae, Jazz and Rock.
Plays high energy rock shows for people to dance, party, and get a little crazy. Also we've done full on, note-for-note tributes to Bands/Albums such as "Sticky Fingers" by the Rolling Stones, "Stop Making Sense" by the Talking Heads, and Led Zeppelin's "Houses of the Holy". The band is known for its live "rawkshows", dynamic jamming and creative and inspiring songwriting by keyboardist Tim Carrow and face ripping jams by guitarist Jason Fladager.
The People Brothers Band
One of the staples of Madison's vibrant music scene, The People Brothers Band has been spreading their brand of Rhythm and Soul around the Upper Midwest for nine years. Currently working on their second studio album, the band is known for energetic live shows and ability to connect with the audience. The band is the winner of the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award for 2014 Soul/R&B Band of the Year and the Madison Area Music Award for 2017 Pop/R&B Artist of the Year, 2015 Pop/R&B Album of the Year (Middle of the In Between), and the 2013 Blues Album of the Year (People Brothers Live) & Blues Song of the Year (Looky Here Mister).
The band has emerged as one of Madison’s tightest and most soulful groups, featuring vocalists Scrivens and Gronna, whose singing alone is worth the price of admission.
